Black Knight back in the saddle

I picked up this Black Knight pinball a few days ago as parts of a trade with another collector. Overall it’s not in bad condition, though it does have some flaws. I’m not a huge fan of the gameplay but it’s a classic and definitely a game that I would like to keep in my permanent collection. I had one before and traded it as part of the deal where I got my Superman because I knew that this one would find it’s way to me eventually. Unfortunately it’s not going to be restored any time soon but that’s okay with me.

This is the backglass. I haven’t seen it lit up yet so I can’t really say how good or bad it really is but overall it doesn’t look too bad. Not perfect but good enough for me.

The backglass has been touched up but I’ll have to live with it. We’ll see how it looks once it’s installed in the machine.

There is a small chip missing from the cabinet on the front. It shouldn’t be too noticeable with the legs installed and the piece was included with the game so I’ll probably just glue it back on and touch it up as necessary.

It’s nice to actually get a complete game with all of the boards for a change. It was sold to me as “not working” but I’m sure I’ll be able to fix it. At least I have something to work with this time.

There is a pretty large wear spot on the playfield but otherwise it’s not too bad. I’m hoping it won’t be too bad to touchup. What looks like a wear spot over the right flipper in this picture is actually some stuff on the glass. The odd thing is that it’s on the inside.
